2015 Intermeccanica Speedster 6 Coach

We are proud to present one of Henry’s masterpieces from Intermeccanica. ABSOLUTELY no expense spared and it shows in the end product just over 104,000 USD spent on the build.

Donor car was a 1980 911 SC with 12000 miles sourced.3 litre. Engine rebuilt with Webber PMO Carbs Transmission, suspension, brakes are used. M and K exhaust with SSi heat exchangers finish this the under carriage. This part was just over $40,000 USD

Intermecannica Build

  1. Intermeccanica Speedster 6 Coach is a custom built high quality “Hot Rod” version of 1959 Porsche 356 A Carrera Speedster, featuring in-house designed and built tubular steel perimeter tube chassis, designed to be built up using Porsche 911 1969 and newer front and rear suspension, brakes steering and 911 6-cylinder engine/transaxle package.

Standard Features – Mechanical

  • Large section tubular steel frame integral with fiberglass body to use any 911 engines/transaxle package up to 1986/915 transaxle
  • Designed for the use of stock 911 front suspension. Coach includes a pair of Intermeccanica camber/caster adjusting plates using spherical bearings, giving a wide range of adjustment and precise location of the top of the strut. Turbo steering tie-rod assemblies are required
  • Use stock 911 long wheelbase rear suspension (1969 and later). Supplied with the coach are special radius arms. The engine/transaxle unit is moved forward in the chassis by approximately 3” (75mm). Use of 21 ¾” length torsion bars (26/28mm. recommended)
  • Other mechanical features include Intermeccanica inboard torsion bar adjusters to adjust rear ride height. Camber adjustment is provided at rear control arm pivot
  • Suggested front wheels stock 911 6” with 112mm of backset. Suggested rear wheels 7” with 138mm of back set (911R). 3m-6mm spacers rear will be required for proper clearance and geometry. Custom wheel fabrication/modification is available
